Nearly 200…. nearly there. Just 7 more! Lol
Anyway, you can view the new newspaper here.
But if you still don’t want to have to click the link and go to the events page (two clicks, too hard, I know right) the events are right here.
But don’t forget, there will be new music for both your igloos and DJ3K!
Then here is just a little more information to do with Sensei’s upcoming visit.
Song of the Day
Today’s song of the day is I’m Happy Just To Dance With You, sung by George Harrison for The Beatles’ albumA Hard Day’s Night.
Great, just what I need. More things to look forward to. I mean… to wait for… Anyway, this is what can be expected, so says one Billybob, the moderator of almost every moment… on the blog, anyway.
There’s always a lot going on in Club Penguin, and it’s hard to believe that we’re already into the third week of 101 Days of Fun!! During the next few months there’s so much happening! I don’t want to give everything away, of course, but there are some things that are too exciting for you to miss. Here’s a sneak peek of some of the things to come:
The team’s been working hard to get a ton of stuff ready to make the next few months really special:
Parties – I can’t give them all away… but did someone say “MASSIVE music festival”?
Costumes & items at the Stage! (Ruby’s coming back!)
New clothing, wigs, and furniture!
Game upgrades – Members will see (and hear) some cool changes to DJ3K and more!
New Rooms – There’s going to be some construction – renovations AND new places!
Special Appearances – I can’t say too much, but some of our favorite penguins will be visiting… And there might be a chance to hang out with a wise Card-Jitsu master…
Let us know what you’d like to see happen over the next few months in Club Penguin!
Until then… Waddle on!
-Club Penguin Team
Now, if you are ANYTHING like me (doubt it), you will be thinking something sort of like this: “oh come on, why did you have to pull THAT stunt on us? it’s worse than the big amounts of previews (but still awesome previews) for the new 13th series of Top Gear..” or “couldn’t you have given us that, sort of more one-by-one?”
Yeah, I thought that too. Dang you Billybob… but still, can’t wait!
Song of the Day
John Lennon’s and Paul McCartney’s (Lennon/McCartney) song Ticket to Ride produced for the Beatles’ album Help!
Well, the Adventure Party is over. Instead, we have several new things to look at and get.
First, we have the newspaper which you can view at: http://media1.clubpenguin.com/play/v2/content/local/en/news/20090618.swf
But if all you want is the upcoming events, they are here for you to see.
Of course, today is June 19, so I have the pin for you to discover, and the furniture catalog cheats for you to view.
The pin, simply put, is a watermelon. It’s very tasty (I should know) and it’s in the Lighthouse, which has brand new music (if you notice…)
That was quick and easy. Now for something slightly harder…. the furniture!
What do you think that penguin is thinking? Personally, it looks to me like its thinking about James Bond. Dunno why.
Anyway, carry on with the catalog!
First page:
What the heck does the CPT think STONE has to do with summer? Regardless, click on the fire of the bamboo torch to get the long-gone-from-the-furniture-catalog LCD TV!
Next, we have a collection of bamboo… again, what to do with summer? No cheats there, I don’t think…
There are cheats on the 3rd page, though.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is click on the Medieval Banner to retrieve your ice sculpture of a knight penguin, shining ice armor and all.
On the very next page, there is another cheat. It’s for gardening… somewhat of a reference to summer, I suppose.
What you get from “cheating” is a Wheelbarrow. Ripoff! Wasn’t this in last month’s catalog? And the one before that? Yeah… it was… and it was in the EXACT same place! Look, see:
That’s from APRIL (proof here)! CP is running out of furniture ideas…
Anyway, there is ONE more cheat. It’s on the NEXT page…
And it’s a picket fence. How original.
And that’s a wrap! See you all next time, for the July-August furniture!
Song of the Day
George Harrison’s Something produced for the Beatles’ album Abbey Road
The newspaper has been released, and it is packed full of stuff.
Here are some of the more interesting pages:
The categories are:
Best Play
Best Music
Best Costume
Best Set
and…
Best Special Effects!
Here are the top FIVE plays that the CP users picked.
Here are the “memories” of the St. Patrick’s Day party.
And here is something that I noticed which is VERY interesting… Aunt Arctic might make a “cameo” appearance?
Finally, here are the events:
Lots of stuff happening recently! Most talked about is the sightings of a mysterious white puffle… true? Well, look at this picture:
See it? Freaky.
Here’s the new O’Berry pin, which is at the Iceberg:
Here are the events:
And here’s Rockhopper’s treasure catalog:
That mainly boasts the return of the Treasure Map background and the Treausre Chest. The other two things are, as far as I know, new.
Excited about the white puffle? I know I am! We’re going to just have to wait and see. I predict that it might come right before the St. Patty’s day party. Who knows? CP does!
What with a whole lot of schoolwork/homework, stress (Lol,) and some… personal issues, as usual with me, I won’t be on the computer as much. Main reason is, school, though. Anyway, here are the CP events.
2/12/09 Events
Puffles are IN this month! Time for a puffle party and puffle interaction4
The newspaper was released today. Here are the events
They are:
New Paint By Letters book: January 30th.
Return of “Team Blue” at the Stage: February 13th.
New Sports Catalog: January 30th.
New Clothing Catalog: February 6th.
Thanks for your comments about how much fun you’re having at the party! It was supposed to end on Sunday but we decided to extend it until Tuesday!! So member penguins – you and your friends can keep competing and dancing for another few days!
Some of you have been asking about Cadence and whether or not she will continue to show up at the party over the weekend and I wanted to let you know that she will be! We’ve heard a few concerns that Cadence won’t show up unless the metal landing pad on the rooftop is clear. Don’t worry–she takes the stairs just like you! So feel free to use the entire area to show off your moves!
As always, we love to hear what you think and what you’re doing at the party!
Until then…Waddle on!

Heh, it turns out you don’t need to stay off of the metal jet pack landing pad for Cadence to come! Lol, but of course I already knew that….
And now for something completely different.
I forgot to post the events… so here they are! http://media1.clubpenguin.com/play/v2/content/local/en/news/20090115.swf
Click that to view the entire newspaper without logging in.
As you can see, it is edited by me. For the extension. Of the party. Am I starting to sound boring? Lol Just kidding. Or am I?
Today a new issue of the Club Penguin Times was released. If you wish to view it without logging in, click here.
As you members remember last Friday on the 2nd of January, the 1st Penguin Style of the year was released. It was all dance-themed. Then there was… http://penguincommunityforce.wordpress.com/2009/01/05/special-members-only-party-coming-soon/
So, now that has been revealed! It is the first ever Dance-A-Thon (for members only, sorry.) Here are pictures:
You see that picture? This might mean the blue sneakers and the very OLD red vest are coming back! Also, Cadence’s look will probably be available as well… We’ll just going to have to wait and see. Lets hope…. *Prays*
And here are the events.
Here is Screenhog’s post on “small secrets”… xD
We like to hide little hidden references in Club Penguin all the time. Sometimes they are really obvious, like those two puffles at the top of the stage that are like those famous actors masks.
But sometimes, there are hidden things. If you’re a ninja, you’ve been able to see this lantern in the catalog:
The price of the lantern is 575. Do any of you know about the Japanese poems called haiku? The Sensei almost always speaks in haikus. The rule with a haiku is that it’s a three-line poem; the first line has five syllables, the second line has seven syllables, and the third line has five syllables. In other words: 5-7-5.
Isn’t that cool? Or do we just have too much time on our hands sometimes?
Waddle on!
-Club Penguin Team
Discuss! I, for one, am excited!
Oh, and who else thinks Cadence (the DJ who is hosting this event) is pretty? xD Just joking! Or am I… Am I? Lol.
The first catalog for 2009 was released today! Check out the Gift Shop for the new Penguin Style catalog!
I don’t want to give too much away, but I can tell you that a lot of the items in there are related to some really exciting stuff that will be happening later in January! I’ll have more info on that next week!
Let us know what you think!
Until then…Waddle on!
-Club Penguin Team
Also, don’t forget the AC3000 in the Lodge Attic. Thats happening in February, however, so we’ll just have to wait and see!
Exciting stuff…. suspense!!! xD
